Douyin and TikTok: what's different
Douyin and TikTok are made by the same company, ByteDance, but they're separate apps. Douyin is for mainland China; TikTok is for the rest of the world. They have different accounts, different videos and different rules. A Douyin link won't open in TikTok, and a TikTok link won't open in Douyin. SnapTik handles both, from separate links.
When the Douyin downloader can't read a link
The video was removed or made private. Only public videos work.
It's limited by region. Some Douyin videos can't be reached from outside China.
The link was cut off. Copy the whole link again, or paste the full share message.
