- Ringtone Ready
Paste a video or photo post link, then tap MP3
TikTok MP3 downloader SnapTik saves the sound from any public TikTok as an MP3 file. Paste a video or photo slideshow link above, tap MP3, and the audio lands on your phone or computer. Use it for songs stuck in your head, voice clips, short lessons, or a new ringtone. No app, no account.
How to save a TikTok MP3
Copy the link
Copy the TikTok link from Share > Copy link.
Paste the link
Paste it in the box above and tap Download.
Tap MP3
In the list of files, tap MP3. That's the audio only, and it saves straight away.
On Android and computers, the TikTok MP3 goes to your Downloads folder. On iPhone, find it in the Files app under iCloud Drive > Downloads.

MP3 or MP4: which one do you need?
Need the video too? Try TikTok to MP4.
| You want | Pick |
|---|---|
| Only the song or voice | MP3 |
| The picture and the sound | MP4 |
| A ringtone or alarm sound | MP3 |
| A clip to edit or share | MP4 |
An MP3 is a small file that plays in any music app, even with the screen off.
What sound quality to expect
Your TikTok MP3 sounds the same as the post. SnapTik saves the sound file TikTok provides and doesn't re-encode it, so it can't sound worse, and it can't sound better either. MP3 is a compressed format, and TikTok's own audio is already compressed.
If a sound was recorded quietly or in a noisy room, the MP3 will sound that way too.
Make a TikTok sound your ringtone
iPhone
iPhone ringtones are made in Apple's free GarageBand app. Apple's ringtone guide has the full steps. In short:
- Save the TikTok MP3 to Files with SnapTik (our iPhone guide shows how).
- Open GarageBand and start a new audio recording.
- Open the Loops browser, tap Files and pick your MP3.
- Drag it to the start of the track and trim it to 30 seconds or less.
- Go to My Songs, press and hold the song, tap Share, then Ringtone, and export it.
- Choose Standard Ringtone to use it right away.
Android
Android makes it easier.
- Save the TikTok MP3 to your Downloads folder (see the Android guide).
- Open Settings, then Sound (on some phones, Sounds and vibration).
- Tap Phone ringtone.
- Choose Add or From your files, then pick the MP3.
Menu names change a little between phone brands, but the path is similar.
Get the sound from a photo slideshow
Photo slideshows have music too. Paste the slideshow's link, and the MP3 option appears next to the photo options. Need the pictures as well? Use our slideshow downloader.
Why your TikTok MP3 is silent or a different song
The song was muted. TikTok removes some songs for copyright reasons. If the post is muted, there's no sound left to save.
The original sound was taken down. When a creator deletes a sound, posts using it can lose their audio.
You only get the clip. A TikTok MP3 contains only the seconds used in that post, not the full song.
Use sounds fairly
Songs belong to the artists and labels that made them. Saving a sound to listen to yourself is one thing. Uploading it elsewhere or using it in paid work can break copyright rules. If you need music for your own TikToks, the in-app sound library is already cleared for use there.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the TikTok MP3 downloader free?
Yes. It's free and needs no account. Ads on the page keep the tool running.
What bitrate is the MP3?
It's the same sound file TikTok plays with the post. SnapTik doesn't re-encode it, so the quality matches the original exactly.
Can I get the audio from a photo slideshow?
Yes. Paste the slideshow link and tap MP3. You'll get the music that plays with the photos.
Why does my MP3 have no sound?
The song was probably muted by TikTok for copyright reasons, or the original sound was removed. There's nothing to save in that case.
Can I set it as my ringtone on iPhone?
Yes, with Apple's free GarageBand app. Import the MP3, trim it to 30 seconds and export it as a ringtone. The steps are above.
Can I download the full song?
No. You get only the part used in the TikTok post, which is often 15 to 60 seconds.
Can I use the sound in my own videos?
Only if you have the rights. For TikToks, use the app's sound library, which is cleared for use on TikTok.
Is SnapTik part of TikTok?
No. SnapTik at snaptikhd.org is an independent tool. We are not part of TikTok or ByteDance. Our TikTok MP3 downloader works only with public posts.
