How to use the TikTok downloader HD tool
Copy the link
In TikTok, tap Share, then Copy link.
Paste it above
and tap Download.
Choose your size
The list shows the resolutions the clip has, such as MP4 1080p, 720p and 576p, with the file size next to each. Tap the biggest one for the sharpest picture, or a smaller one if you're short on space or data.

What HD means on TikTok
HD is short for high definition. On TikTok you'll mostly meet three sizes:
- 1080p is Full HD. It looks crisp on a laptop or TV.
- 720p is regular HD. It looks sharp on almost any phone.
- 576p and below are standard quality. Fine for a quick look, softer on big screens.
Here's the part most sites skip: the top size depends on the upload. If a creator posted in 720p, no TikTok downloader HD tool can give you 1080p. SnapTik shows only the sizes that really exist for that clip.
Which quality to choose
| Size | Best for | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| MP4 1080p | Editing, laptop, TV, keeping a copy | Only offered when the clip was uploaded in 1080p |
| MP4 720p | Watching on a phone, sharing | Smaller file, still sharp on phones |
| MP4 576p | Low storage, slow internet | Smallest video file |
Each button shows the real file size in MB, so you can see the difference before you save. A simple rule: 720p for your phone, 1080p for anything bigger. If you want to know more about the MP4 file format, we have a page for that too.

Mac
Select the file in Finder and press Command + I. The resolution is under More Info. The PC and Mac guide covers downloading on a computer.
Why a downloaded video can look blurry
You picked the top size and the clip still looks soft? One of these is usually the reason.
The upload was low quality. Some creators film in poor light or upload from apps that shrink the video. The file you save matches what they posted.
It's a re-upload. Clips copied from other accounts lose quality each time they're posted again.
A chat app shrank it. WhatsApp, Messenger and similar apps compress videos when you send them as media. To keep the quality, send the video as a document or file instead.
We never upscale or fake HD. If you see 1080p on SnapTik, the file really is 1080p.
When the TikTok downloader HD option is worth it
- You plan to edit the clip or add it to a longer video
- You watch on a laptop or cast to a TV
- You're keeping a backup of your own uploads
- You save tutorials, recipes or workouts where small details matter
For a quick laugh on your phone, 720p is plenty. Only want the sound? Use the MP3 tool.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the HD video saved without a watermark?
Yes. With the TikTok downloader HD tool, every MP4 size, including 1080p, is saved without the TikTok logo or username.
Why is there no 1080p option for my video?
The creator didn't upload it in 1080p. SnapTik lists only the sizes that exist for that clip, so 720p is the best available.
Can SnapTik make a TikTok 4K?
No. Turning a small video into 4K would only stretch it, not add detail. We give you the real file at its real size.
Does HD use more data?
Yes. A 1080p file is bigger than 720p, so it takes longer to save on mobile data. Pick 720p if your data is limited.
How do I keep HD quality when I send it on WhatsApp?
Send it as a document instead of a video. WhatsApp shrinks videos sent as media, but leaves documents untouched.
Is SnapTik linked to TikTok?
No. SnapTik at snaptikhd.org is an independent tool. We are not part of TikTok or ByteDance.
Is the TikTok downloader HD tool free?
Yes. The TikTok downloader HD tool is free, with no account needed. Ads on the page keep it running.
